long days, lonely nights

you really understand the value of a good employee when you have to do her job for a while. i've been down in soperton for the last two days helping take up the slack for one of our composing people down there... and geez -- she does a lot. i mean, i could tell everyone down there to suck it up and just work later to get everything done, but mondays and tuesday are crazy anyway because of deadline... so i went to help. we stayed until 6 p.m. yesterday and 8 p.m. today, and both nights i still had things to take care of at the office here in dublin. my ass is going to be in a crack if somebody quits or dies on me.
