that's chef chris to you...
so i made my first ever eggs benedict yesterday for mother's day and they turned out remarkably well. but in making them, i realized how incredibly unhealthy they are (positively loaded with calories and fat -- on some level i knew this, but now that i have actually measured and mixed all the ingredients, i can no longer eat them in blissful dietary ignorance). so i'm going to have to cut back. we also had mimosas. yum. who needs to pay $50 for brunch for three at a restaurant when you can make the same stuff at home?
the weekend was quite productive... went to atlanta friday evening for dinner and hanging out with j. good seafood and even better company. on sat, dad and i planted some ligustrum and finished the retaining wall on the southeast end of the pool and later that evening, i changed the rear shocks on the 164. did the front shocks and brakes sunday afternoon.
spending a fortune on gas. it will be nice to be back in atl... i swear, i will not travel outsite the perimiter for at least three months after i get back.
