egoisme a deux

thanks to sarah, i am updating my blog... i was reading through her archives, trying to find out whether or not she e-mailed that hot soccer player when i came across an admonishment directed toward me and a few other delinquent bloggers. a malaise seems to have settled on my blogosphere -- many of the folks i link to haven't posted in weeks!

at least i have an excuse -- when i was living in dublin, i had all kinds of spare time on my hands. plus, i spent several hours each day at a computer, so whenever i got the urge to write all i had to do was surf over to blogger and let loose. but now that i am in atlanta, i have so much less time -- classes, work, boyfriend, job search, volunteer work all keep me so busy. plus, i don't have my computer up here so my internet access is limited to my visits to a campus lab. and trying to write a blog entry in a computer lab is like trying to pee in front of someone else (ahem, some of you suffer from pee shyness more than others) -- it just won't come out.

so yeah, now that i've broken my hiatus perhaps i'll try to post more regularly. i certainly have plenty of stuff to talk about, what with election year politics, a serious relationship, being back on campus, etc. but i'll save all that for another post.
